I recently bought a 1990 240dl AT PS ac,poorly treated but looks ok, 200k until odo. gear faild, and I have driven it about 15 miles per day for 10? days. Anyway, suddenly I have a really big oil leak at RR of engine near firewall. There is a red hose near firewall, and oil bubbles out either behind there or somewhere near, I think I need to get car on ramps to see. It comes out even if engine off - no pressure. I really need to drive it somehow a few days, I got 5.1 quarts of semi synthetic at menards $10 and it is cost effective to use a jug every day if I can keep it oiled until monday. Suggestions? I should point out that someone around here, not sure who, has been vandalizing my cars for some time. Almost always with a fluid leak 5-6 seperate times not explainable any other way. Left work at 0730 am, will get up at 2pm, check msg, be at work at 300pm.Thanks.
