89 245 mysterious oil leak, replaced camshaft seal when I did the timing belt 200

The oil leaks on left side of engine, down to water pump and alternator. The car was leaking there when I bought it and I thought easy fix.It still oozes out there and the camshaft end seems dry. There is no oil inside the timing belt cover. Is it possible the leak is connected to where the camshaft is bolted to the head?

Seeking and striving,
Kris
