P1800 Electric power steering mod 1800 1972

Contemplating modifying my hard to turn steering to an electric assist using the electric power module from a 2002 Saturn Vue. There several videos of cars that have this mod but none of them are Volvos. Has anyone on the website made this in what appears to be a compatible mod? The advantage is that you don't have to mess with having a power steering pump with power robbing belt connection to the pulley or its associated hydraulic hoses. See video:
