Was given a 83 245 glt turbo motor is shot. I own three volvos now one of witch is a 91 740 with a 530 head b23 block was thinking about dropping this motor in the 83 any info would help i would like to turbo the b23 it is fuel injected. I have the old turbo from the 83 and am in the process of rebuilding it. will that work or do i need to upgrade to a t3/t4 turbo. Note the 740 is NA. Will the b23 hook up to the m46 in the 83? lots of questions on this project if anyone is intrested in helping me it would be much appriciated. Mostly amature working on volvos but willing to learn.
