Wipers not working.. motor or relay test? 200 1990

So I noticed a few weeks ago that my wipers were randomly working one day and not the next, then it would work again for a bit, and now they aren't working at all. I pulled a used wiper motor from the junk yard and hooked it up and still no luck. It could be that the used part is bad as well, but before I go buy another motor what tests can I perform to test each component? I already replaced the fuse just to make sure and I pulled the relay, its yellow and has a 1990 date stamp. Does anyone have a good link to a video or pictorial of testing the relay and motor?
