Seat lock retaining spring? 140-160

Was cleaning up the seats today on my 71 142E. Noticed that the seat latch- the bit that holds the seat back from flopping forward, wasn't actually engaged! Doesn't have anything loading it to lock position.
On the passenger seat, the mechanism has a elastic band, which doesn't look very robust, nor Swedish.
What is supposed to do this function? Where would I find a replacement (x2)?
