Insulating Washers for your Bosch Alternator on your later Volvo 240: Where to Buy? 200 1991

Ooooh, I almost chose 200 as Model and 2015 as the year. Psych.

Um, so like, I broke the frail B+ insulating washer that sets on the alternator housing at the back.

So, would anyone please know where to buy the or some insulating washers that fit at the base of the B+ and D+ post on the back of Bosch alternator?

Guess what? NAPA, O'Reilly's, AutoZone have no idea where to get, and their retail part infromatics has nothing.

So, I have the current McMaster-Carr parts manual, all like 9000 pages of it. We have some insulating washers, yet none quite to the task by temperature, size, or material (PTFE? Dielectric and slippery! Weeee! Ceramic? Great temp, yet we have oil and antifreeze that may leak.)

One local-yocal alternator auto electric place served up some used pieces. One red insulating washer for D+ and a piece of oblong fiber-phenolic for B+. The ID on both are tight around the D+ and B+ posts. Yet not ideal.

I also had the newer Bosch dielectric barrier, with cable ingress guides or grooves, made of Bakelite, that slides over the D+ and B+ posts. I took this off another alternator. I sneezed and it broke.

Bakelite? Really? What is this? 1942? The dielectric properties are quite good, yet Bakelite cannot stand hardly any compression, shearing, and, well, not much other force. Hardly any tensile strength there.

I have an import auto place nearby with a super auto parts dude-guy that may help. I'll see them tomorrow.

So, please, any insight?

Thank you kind Volvo folks.
