I was was checking out the idle bypass hoses and planning to tighty things up a bit so that I can get the idle under control when I discovered the EGR tube that normally runs from the exhaust manifold to a vacuum control valve below the throttle body is missing and things have been capped off at both ends. Is this the normal fix for EGR problems, or do people fab a replacement out of steel tubing. I'm guessing to find a correct replacement is impossible.
I get kind of nostalgic about trying to keep the car as original as possible, probably to the point of rediculousness.
