Ran fine last night, wouldn't start this morning. I have tested the hall sensor (the connector was broken, but I fixed that) and it is working fine. The power stage amplifier was replaced about two months ago. I'm trying to work-through the procedure in the Green Book, but can't get the connector out of the control module.
Here's the weird thing: I get exactly *one* spark when I stop cranking. The tach (which doesn't even twitch while cranking) jumps up to past 4k RPM when I stop cranking. Does this mean anything?
It is a 1988 740GLE. Bosch LH2.2 fuel system, EZK117 ignition. Also, I'm not sure if this is relevant, but I replaced the spark plugs (NGK copper), air filter, belts, thermostat, and coolant last weekend.
