I have been slowing resurrecting a 61 544 for the last four years. I am now getting to the front fenders. I was getting rid of the bondo on one of the front fenders when I came across a second front blinker hole that had been bondo-ed over. It is lower and farther away from the headlight bucket. I figured this to be a non original fender.... However i could be wrong and maybe the other one is not original to the car. Which leaves me wondering which new blinkers to purchase.

I assume that the correct blinker for the lights-closer-to-the-headlights is the one with the shallower angle on the rubber fitting: parts 661340 and 661341 (listed as B16). Anybody know if this is correct?

It is also strange to me that there is a left and right since they look identical.
