Reversable Front Seats? 200 1988

My driver's side front heated seat has decided to stop working and in general it's not in the best nick. My passenger side seat has a working heating element and is much tidier. Would it be possible to swap them round?

It's a UK RHD 1998 Non Turbo 240, without leather - just the cloth interior.
