First time poster here.
Owned my manual 1983 volvo 244 with b23f with bosche LH injectors for 8 years now and it's been a dream to own.
I was driving downhill and tapped my brakes a little hard right before I smelled a strong gasoline smell. Later I had a friend look under the car along the fuel line, i was thinking the smell was coming up from the gear selector, but popping the hood and turning on the engine we immediately noticed a large mist and spray of gasoline from the metal loop at the end of the fuel rail soaking the injectors and engine. It was a terrifying sight and I immediately turned off the engine, because I've had plenty of issues with my battery and sparks in that area.
So now the car is sitting in front of my friends Porsche racecar shop and im calling every volvo shop and dismantler in the area with no luck of finding a used part, any advice or experience with fuel replacements of this kind?
