Just rewired the right side of my 245 hatch after reading up on all the teeth gnashing posts here on the board. Actually it went well and now my rear wiper works again. (Yay!) One quick thing to add, though, which wasn't mentioned that I saw. When removing or replacing the bolts that attach the hinge to the body, be careful not to drop them... they may well go down into the body channel on the side of the hatch opening never to be seen again. Don't bother asking how I know.
