Strange occurrence 700

This happened the other day. I started the car, then went to lower the window, but the switch didn't work. None of the window switches worked. I thought I'd drive into town anyway because I had the (manual) sun roof open, but could not get the shifter out of Park. I then noticed the SRS (air bag) light was on (no other dash lights on). Turned the ignition off, then on again and it started and everything worked.

So what was this? Am I to expect further trouble down the road?
