hello,
anyone use the volvo glue for installing the rear hatch window? is it needed?

my lawnmower guys broke my 245 rear hatch window, and paid for the new window and installation, but i'm waiting for one part before i have the window installed.

the parts list shows glass/metal glue, volvo p/n 1161481.

on the volvo glue package, i read it's for installing rear view mirrors on the front windshield, but i have no instructions for its use on rear windows.

all volvo parts, i bought
1. a volvo rear window, p/n 1382373 which came with the rubber seal,
2. the glue, p/n 1161481
3. joint sheet, p/n 1382394 (the small, bottom center window clip)
4. spacer, p/n 1382395 (part of 3., the metal clip)

is this glue for the rear brake light, or used to seal the window to the rubber seal? i figure the installers use urethane, instead or in conjunction with the glue.
