Help finding 960 rear control arm for wagon 900

Hi all,

I need help finding a replacement part for my 1996 960 wagon. It is a control arm for the driver side rear and my local Indy Volvo specialist was only able to tell me that it is part #6819792 and Volvo does not make it any more.
I know I am going to be going to a junkyard to find it but what I wanted to find out is if I have the correct name for the part. It got badly bent by something I hit in the road and the drivers side rear tire got put way out of whack. As in the steel belt is showing on the inside and the outside is almost new. If you are under the car it is a straight piece that is at the rear most of the rear wheel. It looks like it keeps the camber right. It has a bearing at each end, one of which comes off with the part. I have a picture but I am not sure how to show it in the forum here.

Is this commonly referred to as a rear lower control arm? Would I be able to do a nationwide search of junkyards using that part number? Ebay is my usual go to place for old parts but I see nothing like it. Is this part the same as on the 1996 sedan versus wagon? How can I find out if years other than 1996 use the same part?

Thanks very much,
Jim Lee
