Hi All,

This is my friend's car. It has 325,000 miles on it.

The car runs for 30 minutes after a jump start, then it dies.

He replaced the alternator brush. See attached photo of the old brush.

After installing a new brush, it made a loud whistle sound.

My friend wants to know this plastic part.

The battery is 1 year old.
