940 base no start 900 1993

We towed the 940 turbo home last night using my 940. This morning I went to go to work,hopped in my 940 it started right up. About a half mile from my house it died,no warning it just stalled and wouldn't restart. Check the spark good, distributor rotating good. However I do not hear the pump running. The pump was replaced about 3 years ago.It may be a relay ? I known the trick of bypassing the relay with a 240, is there a way to do it on a 940 ? This one shook me up,this is been one of the more reliable cars of any brand I have ever owned.
