The turn signal relay on my 1985 240DL clicks almost continually when I turn the key on and/or start the engine. I replaced the relay thinking it was bad, but the new one does basically the same thing. It does not always click, but more than it should.

The turn signals work as normal and nothing else seems out of the ordinary. Any ideas on where to start looking?
