Parking brake cable replacement parts consideration 900 1994

I am in the process of replacing the parking brake cables on a 1994 940t.

The FAQ's suggest using genuine Volvo replacement parts rather than aftermarket based on better fitment.

Based on the price difference I would like to go with aftermarket, but I don't want to complicate my life over it.

If you have replaced the cables with aftermarket what was your experience and do you remember what supplier you went with?
