I am having trouble mounting a B18 into my 1965 544. I confirmed that the mounting brackets that came with my rebuilt engine are identical to the mounts on my other 544. The new rubber mounts I ordered appear to be correct and are OEM volvo parts. We are coming up about .75 inches short. It seems barbaric to drill the slots out more the cross member. Did volvo make different mounting brackets for different years? We are stumped and could use any help!
