Hi Guys,
I lost all the spark in my 1988 760 GLE V6.
In the past this has been directly related to corrosion inside the distributor cap.
That was the problem this time so I replaced the cap, rotor, coil and coil lead but still no spark.
The next component I am replacing is the Crank Position Sensor and then maybe the Ignition Control Module.
- I was hoping somebody has experienced a problem similar to this and could enlighten me a little.

This has been one of the most reliable cars I have ever owned and it has performed admirably
for the past 15 years. 269k on the clock and still burning cleanly. (Knock on wood)
