My daughter's 240 battery was dead. This happened once in the summer also, and I could find no cause. This time I jump started it and measured 14V charge. When I turned it off, I noticed the blower fan was still running with the ignition off and key out. This could explain how the battery ran down. I have replaced a 240 ignition switch before and it wasn't fun, so just making sure that nobody here knows of something else could be the cause before I buy and install a new ignition switch.
