Recently my fuel gauge on my '85 245 has been all over the place. Reading empty, 1/4, 1/2, empty again. Now it always reads empty. I installed a replacement sending unit I had on the shelf. Still nothing. I replaced the gauge itself. Still reads empty. Any suggestions? This was an all of a sudden issue last month.

Thanks for any direction.
