No reverse when warm: M46 200

OK. I'm one week into driving on my new old M46, everything feels great, OD engaging and disengaging properly, but reverse will not engage when it's warmed up.

I'm hoping it's fluid related and not major mechanical( I filled it with MTL to the bottom of the fill hole on level ground)

Any insight is greatly appreciated, but if this tranny is junk, please break it to me gently.
