Screws for the in-door speaker have nothing left to 'bite' into 200

1993 245 with 250k miles

The passenger side door speaker won't stay in place because the metal clip that slides over the upholstered cardboard door panel has nothing left to hold onto. The speaker hole has gotten worn at the areas where the screw is supposed to hold the speaker in place; the metal clips won't hold the speaker in place.

Anyone got a good, easy fix for this?
