Location of 74 142 k-jet fuel pump 140-160

Hi all,
Just arrived at the location of a 1974 Volvo 142 that I bought from a distance (around 1500 miles difference). Working on a fuel delivery issue.

When I took a very quick look yesterday, the fuel pump that is on the car doesn't look like the original Bosch pump, but possibly from a non k-jet 240. What I can't find in any of my Haynes, or even the Volvo green book for a 1974 140 is a picture of where the fuel pump and accumulator are located.

On this car, if I remove the rear driver's side wheel, the fuel pump is hanging vertically and that doesn't seem to be very similar to any other Volvo 1800 or 240's I've owned. All of those cars mount the pump horizontally. So I'm suspecting a previous owner attached the pump he had available in the fastest way he could find.

I've disconnected the fuel filter, and when cranking the engine, we do get fuel coming through the line. No idea if it's being delivered at k-jet pressures though. Going to reattach the fuel filter today and see if I can get the engine to fire. We do get the engine to catch and run for a second or two, if we pour some gas directly into the intake manifold.

So if anyone who has a 74 140 is able to send me a picture of the stock location and orientation of the fuel pump and accumulator, that would be a huge help for me.

I won't be logging into brickboard as I work on the car (out of my cel coverage range, as well as in grassy field), but I would be able to get an e-mail message. My e-mail address is bwright zero zero two at yahoo dot see eh. I'm in Canada with this car, but my phone is Verizon (US), so texting is hit and miss.

Many thanks for any assistance.
Bruce
