122 door handle pushing lever issues

New 122 owner here:

I have replaced the tumblers on my 122 door handles but can't get my door pin/lock nut/adjusting screw to pushing far/hard enough to move the door lever. The handle insert pushes in but the door pin slides back along the groove in the tumblr with little force rather then pushing the adjustment screw forward. Any rebuild step by step manual or help would be appreciated.
