Air box at exhaust heat shield 200 1990

Does anyone know if the lower heat shield (one with the pipe to attach air box flex hose) from another model will work? I failed smog due to mine being broken. The one from my 86 240 is a different configuration. The local PNP has several 740's and one 940 only. I don't want to drive 30 miles for nothing. Thanks in advance.
