I've loved this great old "brick" for more than 20 years, but I'm getting too old to mess with cars. So when it faltered and died driving down the road, that became the stopping point. It's probably something very simple, but I'm done. Not going to sell it for 200 bucks, so I'll do one last flurry of car-fiddlin'.
Thought I should start with the engine, so if anybody's interested, they could see it work. New timing belt 3 yrs ago, been running full synthetic for several years, couple yrs ago the mechanic said it has perfect compression in all four cylinders.
Nothing wrong with the manual transmission, either. New clutch a couple years ago, along with the engine rear main seal.
The car is near Burnet TX right now; next week it'll be near Brownwood TX.
Anybody interested?
