No R/L brake lights 200 1993

No right& left brake lights. I've searched BB and can't find the answers to my problem. This is what I know, or think I do. Verified fuse is good. Replaced the bulb warning sensor. I ran a wire from the battery to both lights thus verified both bulbs and sockets are good. The center (245) light works fine so I assume the brake switch works. I can't figure out why my boat trailer brake lights work? When I trace the left purple wire and the right purple/white wire from the lights I note there is no splice from the boat trailer wire harness to these wires. I just can't figure it out. Any help appreciated!
