I'm very excited to have picked up my first 240, its a 1988 GL model (non-turbo). This is my second Volvo, the previous was a 2002 S60 model which unfortunately had to be scrapped. I found this 240 GL locally and picked it up about two weeks ago with under 100k miles. It needs some light TLC here and there but nothing significant.
The only real problem is the somewhat common brake light issue, the third light above the trunk functions but that's it. I checked fuses so far and replaced the bulbs themselves but no change.
