Hi Everyone!
I've had my 1993 940 wagon for several years, and the AC has never worked. The light doesn't come on for "AC Off," and the blue light doesn't come on either. I had a neighbor look at it, and the compressor clutch doesn't spin. However, when he pushed around the wire that has a black clip that connects to the silver canister, the clutch would sometimes spin. I'm attaching a picture of the connection I'm talking about (it's on the top right side of the silver canister). Since the AC lights don't work, could it be the climate control unit? We attempted to take it out, but there's a group of wires in a row that I'm not sure how to release. Any thoughts?
Also, IS there a relay related to the AC behind the front left headlight when you're standing in front of the car? If so, what is it called?
Any insight is very much appreciated!

P.S. I'm not sure if I'm posting the picture correctly. It's on BrickPix under 900 and PERSONAL. The name is AC Canister Connection Issue. Hope this helps!
