960 hard starting 900

I have a 1996 960 wagon that has always started right up but now takes a couple of tries to get it started. Once it starts it runs fine. Does this sound like tired plugs or wires? I cannot remember if coils play a part in the starting. Any tips or hints as to how I can get back to normal starting would be most appreciated.
