Stay bushing replacement 900 1993

1993 945 NA

When replacing the stay arm bushings, I found by accident a quicker and easier way to replace the stay arms and bushings. The bolt that holds the end link to the control arm (my control arms are steel)is the same size, only longer, than the stay arm bolt. By accidentally using the longer bolt I was able to grab the stay arm, pull it forward enough to get the stay arm frame bolt through the bracket. The stay arm can rotate within the frame bracket enough to cause one side to be misaligned when attempting the bolt placement, so be mindful of that. Of course any bolt that's the same as the stay arm bolt will help, it just has to be longer. I hope this will help someone.

Fred
