Well, I went looking for the access cover for my in tank pre pump and became flummoxed by the rear fastening of the center panel. That directly behind the back seat. The front securing fasteners were easy enough to locate but the back end was /is less obvious.
Being Mr. Magoo doesn't help and I set out loosening hex bolts that actually secure the connecting hinged section. Grrr. I found no obvious bolts or screws securing that deck panel. Since it will take a few days for the new pump to arrive, I have some time to expose the proper space. I didn't remove the spare tire because I believe the tank to be in front of that space, , Since I don't know, I suppose I will at least look. Otherwise the sneaky pump must be under this recalcitrant flooring. If there is some 940 secret to getting this panel out, please do tell. I am sure I will eventually suss it out but I find that nothing trumps the experience of those in the trenches.
