Repairing bowed doorhandle frames 200

Hi All,

I've seen reference to repairing the bowed door handle frames, but no actual techniques or pictures of how it's done. I have my door handles out of the car to fix the pins and replace the rubber on them, and I'd like to address the bowed-in shape of them at the same time. I've tried hammering a piece of wood against the bowed surface but I don't think I've made much of a difference. Anyone have an experience fixing these?
