Wrong fluid in power steering 900 1994

'94 940t w/472k.

I stupidly put a fair amount of O'Reilly ps fluid in the resevoir. Drove it about 7 miles to the house... really stiff by arrival.

No more driving till I flush the system, and refill with proper fluid and stop leak/conditioner. Leaking fairly badly.

FAQs very helpful, but a couple of questions remain that I did not see.

1> How much does the system hold?

2> Am I wasting my time and just need to replace rack? FAQs seem to be pretty optomistic about it all turning out good with a proper flush.
