flywheel 940 auto 900 1994

Hello all ,
I am installing a older (87) B230 engine into a (94) 940 automatic.
My problem is with the flywheel . I have to change the flywheel from the (94) to the older block and the position is unclear . The flywheel I need to use has 38 holes plus a arrow stamped in it. My book says the arrow should be horizontal with a pin at 15 degrees at tdc. This does`nt seem to line up.
I would hate to bolt the thing up only to find position sensor not able to its job. I would appreciate some help. Thanks. Steve..
