Running Issue 900 1994

I've done a swap from a 1994 b230ft into my 1981 264. Fortunately the engine runs and starts with some minute issues on the side. One problem is that when getting into the midrange (2000-5000 revs) the car sputters and chokes, not sure if its a lean or rich situation. Once past that rev range, the car pulls like a dream and shows no issues. The MAF worked before the swap and the car does not benefit from being unplugged (limp mode). The car does not run any better with the o2 sensor disconnected. I ran the OBD and got the code 1-2-3 which states that the engine coolant temp sensor isn't working, but after wiping the codes and trying again, I got the code 1-1-1 (no issues). I've checked many grounds and enhanced if I am doubtful but because the engine and harness went in recently, I might be missing something (wires or grounds) although many are connected. Help me get Super Beige back on the road!
