Look, I fixed it! 200 1990

So, I've been working on my latest addition to my fleet and here is what I just fixed, or shall I say the PO fixed.

PO's fix for a stripped out oil bolt

I do remember seeing this when inspecting the car, but it did not dawn on me what was going on until last weekend when I went to drain the oil before doing some major engine freshening.

Here is what the pan and fix looked like once out of the car.

Pan out showing oil plug fix

The next two photo's just show how badly stripped the bolt hole was. I still have it and plan to fix it for future use. Will need a bigger bolt.

stripped 2

These are images of the new to me pan that I pulled on Tuesday from my local PNP off of a 91' sedan. The pan is a little dented, but hey it does not leak and the drain plug is not stripped. Score for me!

Hope you all enjoyed the show. A lot more fun posting it than fixing/living it.

Matt
