Distributor shaft seal replacement 700 1989

I did the unthinkable...broke one of the fiber washers. John Sargeant's great descriptive article and apparently I did not scrape off the buildup on shaft. Steve Hogan gave dimensions of .500"(12.7mm)IDx.935"(23.75mm)ODx.0293"(0.75mm)thick. So far I have not found a replacement source just as John had said. Any suggestions what is the best next step? I think you may be out there now, John.Thanks for any help from anyone.
