Anyone have Quality Problems with Skandix Breather Boxes? The Top Plastic Seam Fails 900

This is the second breather box where the top popped off for me. Different car, similar results. Oil mess all over the driver side of the engine, and if I don't fix it it will eventually spell the end for the starter and IACV. I don't want to pay $70 for a Volvo part, but now I probably should. I'm thinking of throwing a used one in there now. The worst part is that this car has EGR so I have to fight with that metal octopus underneath the intake manifold! It sucks, it's a pretty crappy job all around. So, anyone else have similar troubles, have they melted the pieces back together? Can you use plasti-weld?
