need some very good body shop recommendations in the houston area for repairing bad rust problems. not fender or doors.

i guess this could be better described as restoration.

some parts of the metal is gone, and some sections will have to be made new and welded on.

my 86 wagon has an increasing rust problem underneath the back bumper. it's typical of wagons made in the mid 80s before volvo improved on rust prevention.

in the back, if you lift the floor hatch where there's a little sunken area for tire irons and stuff, it's rusting where the bottom panel is welded to the bottom of the hatch catch. and the rust is spreading left to right.

it hasn't gone through where the hatch catch is but it's getting pretty bad.

my paint shop won't touch it.

i expect this repair work will be pricey.
