A/C hose price variation 200

Why is it that I see such a variation in price for the same hose? On ebay they sell for about $29 and at euro and other suppliers they sell for over $100.
Am looking for a new suction hose for a 740 or 940 which I will stick on my '93 245 to complete the a/c circuit.
Are there certain makes I should avoid or look for?
