Hi all! My steering rack is leaking badly, and I've done the replacement job on other vehicles, but I'm wondering: Have you ever bought a seal kit and fixed one yourself? I'm thinking the outer seal will slide right over the inner tie rod, that's got to be easier than changing the whole thing. And if the other side begins to leak I can do the same. As an aircraft mechanic I have some hydraulics experience, I'm willing to give it a shot. Any thoughts?
