while the wife was gone to an appt this morning....I had gone outside for a minute....noticed my driver's front tire was low on the wagon...
so fired her up, and went to the gas station at the end of the street.
no issues starting, no issues running.
Wife got back from her appointment and came in the house.... said she smelled gas outside. Very strong.
I went out and noticed the driveway was wet under my car.
*looked* under the car and what little gas I have in the tank (less than a gallon) was *pouring* out
I have a ruptured fuel line midway....
ugh.
so my questions are....
(Art Benstein, are you listening?)
are 1990 240 fuel lines 1/4" or 5/16"?
How long do I need?
Measurements for the bends?
any special fittings or can I use "off the rack"?
thinking of replacing the original "rubber over vinyl" with steel. Then the damn things won't ever rupture again (at least that's my thought)
Thanks in advance, everyone.
