everybody probably knows this, but at this fall time of the year many e-bay vendors start pushing very good prices on JUMPER CABLES. They tend to be much better deals than local places. Jegs, a hot rod vendor with a good reputation, for example, have 25 foot 4 gauge cables for $16.99 or so, free shipping, no tax outside Ohio (I think). Don't know if cable is copper, aluminum, or copper coated aluminum. Other vendors have similar deals. Usually local stores have 12 foot, 10 gauge, aluminum, $12 or so, and obviously expect very little comparison shopping on foot. . Goal is longer, thicker (smaller number is better),all copper, and better clamps. Anyway, this is when everybody pushes the deals. Just FYI.
