Curious if anyone can tell if the steel line that I bent to make room for the u-bolt is a return line and if so, will the line endure minimal pressure?

I ask because after bending the line out of the u-bolt's way I have torqued the line down in place and I had trouble getting everything to go back to how it looked originally. I know the fittings aren't seated properly but I've used thread sealer and liquid gasket on the end with the exposed threads, which I cannot torque down anymore though there are more than five threads on the inside that I did torque down.
