Owned this '94 945T brick for 20+ years and a '89 740 GL previously. Both always seemed to be plagued by a high pitch squealing noise when in reverse direction.

I tried the many methods provided in the FAQ's, but alas, the squeal returns within 2 weeks.

I live in the west coast in a rather dry climate.
Used ATE brand caliper grease.
Not used any types of grease.
Used Silicone types of caliper grease.
Organic pads
Ceramic pads
OEM Volvo everything.

Results: Quiet and effective for two weeks, then the noise returns.

What am I missing here?
